How To Create a Quote

Creating an Uncle Tommy's Ice Cream Catering quote is the first easy stage in booking an event. Many of our clients like to send us event information online. (They do this by clicking the "Send Form" button on our online Information Form, as explained below.) However, some clients prefer to phone or fax us at (408) 298-2824 .

Submitting a quote to Uncle Tommy neither obligates you to order nor does it secure an event date.

Booking An Event: after receiving your tentative Quote online, Tommy will call to go over event details, after which he'll send a written Quote for review and signature.
Then, a 30-100% deposit will secure date on calendar; deposits can be sent in the form of money order, company check, or

 

You can create a quote in less then one minute.

  • Go to Dessert Menu & type in desired # of desserts in Qty area (Quantity).

  • Scroll down dessert menu page (which includes the Information Form) & click on Your Quote Is Ready

  • Be sure to complete any box labeled required.

Helpful Note: After creating a quote, you can scroll back to change/revise #'s in the Desserts Menu boxes. The Quote will automatically re-calculate instantly; after you make such a change, click on Your Quote Is Ready again.

We will always offer a variety of fresh, delicious desserts that will complement any occasion. Our presentation will be just as you expected and our "precise yet unpretentious" hospitality staff will always serve your guests with "old school" warmth and personality.

Selecting Desserts / Generating Tentative Quotes
Our easy to use Dessert Selection feature within the Dessert Menus pages lets you quickly configure a tentative order in seconds. You can clear the form to work up another, or immediately send to Tommy for review. Sending the Information Form / Quotes page never commits you to an order, nor does it automatically secure a date on the calendar. Upon receiving your Form, Tommy will call to discuss all details and then send a Quote for your review and signature.

Taxes
Sales tax of 9 1/4% applies to the Invoice Total on Full Service orders; for Drop 'n Go orders the wet /dry ice charges & gratuities are taxed.

Gratuities
Always appreciated for a job well done, based upon our performance.

Payment/Deposits
We accept company check, money orders, A deposit of 30-100% secures event date on calendar. Balance due on day of event. Established large corporate customers may have terms of 15-day net on the balance due.

Cancellations
If cancellation occurs 45 days prior to event, you will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made 44-30 days prior to event will result in a 50% refund of total deposit; 29-15 days notice receive 25% of the total deposit; 14 days or less, no refund unless event is immediately rescheduled, as short notice booking of the available date is unlikely.
